Garden Snails Quilt

Hello and welcome back

Another walk down memory lane today while I share my Garden Snails Quilt with you all.

Isn’t it a fun quilt!

I made this quilt as part of a sew along run by Angie of Gnome Angel quite a few years ago now. The pattern is by Lindsay of Pen and Paper Patterns

I can’t tell you what fabrics I used for the background or the snail bodies. The shells though I know are either a Liberty bundle from Spotlight or one of the snail prints from Tula Pink’s line Slow and Steady.

I originally gave this quilt to my Nanna as she has always been a keen gardner and I have memories of going snail stomping at her house in the early morning dew when I was only little (Fun fact: My Nanna’s father was the gardner for Booloomimba Homestead when it was owned by the White family before it became UNE).

When my Nanna moved into aged care though the quilt came back to live with me.

Thanks for stopping by.
